In 2005, I started printmaking again after a long hiatus (read: I left college and no longer had easy access to a press). I chose mezzotint after happening across Carol Wax's wonderful book on the subject. For more information about the mezzotint process, click here.

Copying Myself
Below is a series of watercolors I did, riffing on the mezzotints seen above. Sort of fun, reversing the usual process of making prints from paintings. Interesting, the directions the paintings took off from the print projects.
